Chester and North Wales agency franchise honoured for performance

The Chester & North Wales franchise of Driver Hire, owned by Andy and Heidi Balmer, received a Platinum Achievement Award for its sales performance during the 2025/26 financial year.

The Flint-based office surpassed £1 million in annual turnover.

Driver Hire is the UK’s largest specialist supplier of temporary and permanent drivers and logistics staff to organisations across the public and private sectors.

Andy Balmer said: “Driver Hire Chester & North Wales supplies quality staff to all its customers. “Road transport and logistics is a highly regulated industry. “As a result, more and more businesses are recognising the value of working with a 100% reliable supplier for all their recruitment requirements.”

Heidi Balmer highlighted the benefits of their franchise model.

She said: “When it comes to customer service, because we’re a franchise, we offer them the benefits of working with a local, owner-managed business, backed by the resources of a major national company. “And, of course, we can help drivers complete their essential Driver CPC training.”

Driver Hire’s chief executive, Chris Chidley, praised the Chester and North Wales team for their success.

He said: “This is a performance to be proud of, achieved in what are uncertain times. “Andy, Heidi and their team at Chester & North Wales are to be congratulated on their success. “It’s a result of their hard work, endeavour and the first rate, round the clock service they and their drivers deliver.”
