Emily Pickering joined Cavendish to take on the innovative role having previously trained to be a lawyer and worked for a law firm in the city.
Now, she is using her legal knowledge to help speed up transaction times for clients looking to sell their homes.
Emily, 25, who is based at the firm’s Grosvenor Street office, said: “As soon as I saw the job advertisement for a ‘sales progressor’, I knew it was the job I wanted.
“The nature of the role allows me to use my legal background and understanding to help smooth the process of selling for our clients.
“I hope to make a difference by knowing when to chase up solicitors and help clients understand some of the legal jargon that is often used.
“There are also times when there may be specific issues that need addressing to keep a sale on track.”

She adds: “Because it’s a dedicated role, I have the time to build strong relationships with our clients.
“I really enjoy the variety of the role and guiding people through what can, at times, be a tough process.”
David Adams, managing director of Cavendish, which also has branches in Mold and Ruthin, said: “We are always looking for ways to innovate and improve the quality of service we can provide to our clients and creating the role of sales progressor is part of this approach.
“Emily has already made a fantastic difference, complementing the work of our sales negotiators, ensuring we have the strongest possible relationships with our clients and that they know we are doing everything we can to get their sale over the line as quickly and smoothly as possible.
“We intend to appoint additional sales progressors over the coming months.”
