The Begbie family took control of Willington Hall Hotel, in Willington Road near Tarporley, in 2000, marking 25 years since the Begbie family took ownership of the elegant country house hotel.
To celebrate, the team at Willington Hall is inviting the community, past guests, and new visitors to join in a summer of celebration, nostalgia, and new memories.
Over the past quarter of a century, Willington Hall has played host to countless weddings, christenings, milestone birthdays, family lunches, romantic proposals, and unforgettable evenings on its terrace.
For many, it is a place where chapters of their lives have unfolded against the backdrop of Cheshire’s rolling countryside.
“We know how much Willington means to people locally,” said Stuart Begbie of Willington Hall.
“From engagements and anniversaries to Sunday roasts with grandparents, we’ve been part of your stories, and we want to celebrate that together.”
As the hotel celebrates its silver anniversary, Willington Hall is reimagining what it offers to the community.

Known for stunning weddings, it is also a destination for relaxed lunches, Friday night drinks on the terrace, sunset cocktails, family dinners, and corporate retreats.
“There’s a myth that you can’t just pop in, but you absolutely can,” said Mr Begbie.

Willington Hall now offers expanded event opportunities with access to surrounding fields for marquee weddings, glamping setups, and large-scale corporate or community events, all framed by Cheshire’s most Instagrammable backdrops.
